This work is part of my series Materia viva. Within it, the human body does not appear as an anatomical representation, but as a territory traversed by vital processes: a space where the internal is made visible, and where nature ceases to be a mere environment to become a manifestation. Here, the seasons are not understood through landscape, but as corporeal and emotional experiences.
In spring, the face becomes the locus of irruption. Flowers bloom from the mouth, eyes, and skin, displacing its boundaries and transforming its configuration. They are not a decorative element, but the visible manifestation of that which emerges from within. Inflorescence thus becomes a metaphor for the way in which emotions, memory, desire, or pain find a way to become visible, expanding across the body like an inevitable growth.
