Frida II

This work is part of my Iconic Women series, a project paying tribute to women who have transcended their era to become universal icons through their talent, personality, and legacy. To me, Frida Kahlo embodies resilience, identity, and the profound capacity to transform pain into artistic creation. Her life and work remain an enduring source of inspiration, defined by their authenticity and courage. In this portrait, I sought to accentuate the intensity of her gaze, employing a black-and-white foundation and using color to amplify its symbolic power.
