The Whole of the Moon

Conrado Díaz Ruiz · 2026 · Acrylic on canvas · 60 × 80 cm

The Whole of the Moon by Conrado Díaz Ruiz

The golf ball takes on an almost cosmic significance: it ceases to be merely a piece of sports equipment and becomes a tiny satellite, an obsession, or a thought orbiting around the player. The expression on the face captures the moment just before the swing: the intense concentration, the frustration, or even the ecstasy that the game can evoke.
