The Weight of Both

"The Weight of Both" explores the opposing sides that can exist within the same person—light and darkness, tenderness and aggression, vulnerability and strength. The two dogs represent these conflicting dualities, while the man holding both reflects the constant effort to carry and balance them rather than suppress one of them. The painting speaks about the difficulty of accepting and living with different parts of ourselves at the same time.
