Estanque

In Estanque, Miguel González Rodríguez transforms a humble courtyard pond into a luminous meditation on harmony between nature, architecture, and everyday life. Bathed in soft Mediterranean light, the composition invites the viewer into an intimate garden where reflections, flowering plants, and weathered stone walls create a quiet rhythm of color and texture.

Executed with remarkable sensitivity, the artist captures not only the physical beauty of the setting but also its atmosphere of serenity and timelessness. The shimmering surface of the water becomes the emotional center of the painting—a mirror that reflects both the surrounding landscape and a moment of contemplative stillness.

Estanque celebrates the enduring poetry of traditional Canarian spaces, reminding us that beauty often resides in the simplest places, where light, memory, and nature exist in perfect balance.
